Description
- Grapes: Aglianico 100% – 13% vol.
- Growing zone of grapes: Montemarano – Castelfranci
- Vineyard altitude: Approx. 500/550 m sea level
- Vineyard cultivation system: Cordone speronato (Spurred cordon)
- Racking: Wine aged over 4 years, including 18 months in French oak casks, racking in bottle for no less than 1 year.
- Organoleptic characteristics: It is a wine with an intense ruby red colour tending towards orangey garnet, with a full-bodied flavour. It leaves scents of morello cherry and wild berries in the mouth. It should be drunk at a temperature of approximately 18/20° C and we recommend that the bottle is opened a few hours earlier.
- Serving Suggestions: It goes very well with first courses with gravy, red meat, game and mature cheeses.
